Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar scored the first-ever double-century in men’s ODI cricket in February 2010 against South Africa. Overall, the first person to score a double century was Belinda Clark from Australia on December 16, 1997.

Shubman Gill from India is the youngest player at 23 years and 132 days old to score a double century. Overall, at just 17 years old New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr became the youngest female player to score a double century in ODI cricket.
